Wasserwerks: How long have you been involved in the VW/Audi hobby?

Jill Silver: I kind of got involved when I began dating my current boyfriend, Rob. Then I bought my Jetta and I was hooked!

WW: What first got your interest in these types of cars?

JS: When I was 15 I decided I wanted a Jetta because they looked cool, but it would be five years before I owned one. My dad wanted me to have a Ford for a first car.

WW: What cars do you presently own?

JS: My 07 Rabbit.  I named him Jack.  Please don't laugh at me.
 

WW: What cars do you wish you owned?

JS: I'd love to have an air cooled Beetle, I don't know why. Or a Thing, because it has a cool name. Oh yeah, and a G60 Corrado. Do I have room for any more?
 

WW: What cars do you wish you still owned?

JS: My Jetta, hands down. That car never let me down.
 

WW: What do you like to do with your car(s) (show/race/etc.)?

JS: Drive the wheels off it, show it, detail it, and (at least some would say) try to polish the paint off of it (I know it’s going to get dirty, I just don’t want it to!)

WW: What are your future plans for your car(s)?

JS: Definitely rims and tires, possible suspension, TT exhaust in the distant future, maybe a chip… the possibilities are endless.

WW: What other hobbies do you have?

JS: Wait, what are… oh yeah. Let me get back to you on that.
