VW/Audi's Owned:
2001 GTI VR6
Wasserwerks: How
long have you been involved in the VW/Audi hobby?
Vinny Errico:
Umm…about 3 years
WW:
What first got your interest in these types of cars?
VE:
Well…I got into VW
when one day I got out of work to get into my Honda Civic in the parking lot
and it was gone never to be seen again that’s when I decided to go a
different route and get into the euro scene.
WW:
What cars do you presently own?
VE:
I own a Black 2001 GTI VR6
that happens to have a stage 3 VF kit
WW:
What cars do you wish you owned?
VE:
I have always been into
Ferrari’s so a f430 would be my choice
WW: What cars do you wish you
still owned?
VE:
I loved the civic
that I had but I wouldn’t really want it back and that’s really the only
other car that I have had.
WW:
What do you like to do with your car(s) (show/race/etc.)?
VE:
I have been trying to get
it into shows and magazines but it seems so hard and there are so many other
really nice cars out there.
WW:
What are your future plans for your car(s)?
VE:
I think that for
this year I am done but for next year lets see…..brake kit, oil cooler, side
skirts, and I am sure ill find something by then.
WW:
What other hobbies do you have?
VE:
My main hobby is my
car I enjoy driving it even if I don’t have a place to drive to. I am
always interested in investing so I try to read up on the newest place to
invest your money.
WW:
What is your best personal VW/Audi Story?
VE:
Well its not the
best because it’s a horrible story but here it is…. I just got the car and
only had it for a month. I had a work day planned for later in the day so I
decided to wash my car and clean it from bumper to bumper. It was looking
really good shining in that sun it was good and ready to go. I got ready for
work and off I was. I got out of my neighborhood and WHAM!!……some lady
driving a beat up 80’s corolla wasn’t looking and t-boned my rear end. She
hit my car so hard that my axle was bent so bad that I had to drive 2 miles
an hour home. Everything is back to normal but that was a sad day for me.
